General Information

A dynamometer is just a tool. If and when possible we recommend you use the same dyno for your base line numbers and for measurements on gains from parts/calibration. Dynos can read very different and are often unfortunately manipulated.

As much as I would love to chat with everyone its just not possible. We are on dyno, under hood of car or elbow deep in an engine. Please send us an email or DM us on IG/Facebook and we will get back to you ASAP

We would love to be able to answer this with a yes 100% of the time. However, we need some information. When requesting a calibration please include the type of car, the ecu your using, if stock ecu what software are you running in the ecu or do you want to run.

When scheduling an appointment it is an appointment request, the request is sent to the shop and will either be approved, or denined with an email to go along with it. Please do not book an appointment day of and show up without us contacting you or sending the appointment approval.

On several occasions vehicles have arrived "tune ready" and are truly not. If you choose to leave the vehicle for us to fix the issues (major) it will be moved to end of line. Meaning if we are a month or three months behind that is when we will get to resolving your vehicles issues and prepare it for dyno time.

If your vehicle is brought in as a "tune ready" vehicle and is put on dyno for calibrations but removed because it is found to not be tune ready, you will be charged 200$.

There is no simple answer to this, we warn everyone before coming to us for any services. The best description I have found online is quoted next....

" I have traveled this country for years tuning cars on dynos. I bet I have more dyno experiance then just about anyone. THis is my ranking from highest to lowest reading dynos:

1. Dynapak hub dyno.
2. DTS Dynamic test systems
3. Dynojet
4. Dyno dynamics (old software read low, Owners complained, New software reads high)
5. Mustang AWD 500 series.

Dynos can be altered. I know of a few shops who have altered the machine or the software to have higher numbers. They are on these forums. Its clear who they are. Remember. These people are in this to make money and to eat. They sell more parts and ecu's and services when numbers are higher. This flat out sucks for the honest guys because our dynos read "low". I am one of those guys. I tune each day on a low ass reading Mustang AWD 500. I have to explain just about everyday how you cant make 400 fricken wheel hp on pump 91 in the 115 degree heat with an fp green. You make 330 and be happy the car is tuned right

Yes, the dynamometer can run Fwd, Rwd, and AWD.
